THE WORLD OF TWO
Natural AAA Purple Ruby Bracelet · Solid 14k Gold
One mineral, two great names.
Ruby and sapphire belong to the same mineral — corundum. Red corundum is ruby; its other gem colours are known as sapphire.
In FLAME, this became The World of Two — two distinct identities, each with its own character and gravity, sharing one world.
This particular ruby has an unusual beauty of its own. Instead of the expected classical red, its colour moves through natural plum-purple, dusky mauve, wine and muted berry, changing subtly from stone to stone. The rubies are untreated, with their natural inclusions and individual markings left visible.
This rare purple ruby material was discovered in Madagascar in 2020.
Ruby has long stood beside diamond, sapphire and emerald in the traditional quartet of gemstones historically known as precious. As corundum, it measures 9 on the Mohs scale of hardness, second only to diamond.
Here, substantial 7 mm faceted rubies are interrupted by a single 5 mm bead of solid 14k gold.
Nothing more is needed.

About sizing
The bracelet shown is designed to fit a wrist measuring approximately 16.5 cm (6.5 in) at the point where the bracelet naturally rests when the arm is relaxed and hanging down.
If you would prefer a different size, we will be happy to make it to fit. Simply send us a message with your wrist measurement.
Clear measuring instructions can be found in our Size Guide in the menu.
About the stretch construction
This bracelet is strung on exceptionally durable professional-grade elastic — a material FLAME has become known for among returning clients for its strength, longevity and resistance to stretching.
It keeps the design beautifully minimal and makes the bracelet easy to slip on and off, without a clasp or unnecessary connecting parts.
Photography Note
Natural gemstones reveal different nuances in sunlight and shade. Their colours may appear darker, softer or more translucent depending on the light.
Camera settings and screen displays may also affect how colours appear. Close-up and macro photography can make the stones appear larger than their actual size.
