FAQ
1. Is each piece unique?
Yes. Every FLAME symbol is individually sculpted in flame.
Each form is shaped by hand, which means no two pieces are ever identical. Subtle variations are part of the artistry.
2. Is it authentic Murano glass?
Yes. We work with authentic Murano glass sourced directly from Venice.
In addition, our studio collaborates with some of the world’s most respected glass houses — including Bullseye (USA), Double Helix (USA), Reichenbach (Germany), and Lauscha (Germany). Their formulations are renowned for chromatic depth, structural stability, and technical refinement.
Only the finest glass is selected — chosen for its integrity, luminosity, and performance in flame.
Material quality is never incidental. It is foundational.
3. Do you use pure gold in your work?
Yes.
Selected pieces incorporate genuine 23k gold leaf produced by the historic Battiloro manufactory in Italy — a house whose legacy spans over a century of gold craftsmanship.
Battiloro ceased production after more than 100 years of operation. The remaining material now exists in limited circulation and is regarded within the craft as historically significant.
We use it sparingly and with intention — as a material presence, not decoration.
4. What is gold filled?
Gold filled jewellery contains a substantial layer of 14k gold permanently bonded to a solid core.
It offers the presence and durability required for everyday wear while maintaining the character of real gold.
All gold-toned elements used in FLAME pieces are gold filled.
