The garden, just after rain.
Natural, untreated AAA multicolour tourmaline from Afghanistan. Rose, olive, amber, pale blue and wine — a remarkable spectrum of colours, each stone carrying its own depth, transparency and natural imperfections.
The faceted rondelles, approximately 5 mm, form an irregular composition of colour. Some stones are translucent and luminous, others deeper, softer and more subdued. No two sections follow quite the same rhythm.
In direct sunlight, the colours find their voice — vivid, translucent, full of life. In softer light, they settle into a gentler, more subdued palette.

About 14k gold-filled
14k gold-filled is made with a substantial layer of real 14k gold permanently bonded to a base metal. It is far more durable than ordinary gold plating and designed for long-term wear.
Photography note
Natural tourmaline reveals different nuances in sunlight and shade. Its colours may appear darker, softer or more translucent depending on the light.
Camera settings and screen displays may also affect how colours appear. Close-up and macro photography can make the stones appear larger than their actual size.
