BLACK SERPENT natural AA black spinel necklace with irregular faceted 5 mm rondelles by FLAME Atelier

BLACK SERPENT — Natural Untreated AA Black Spinel Necklace

£149.00

BLACK SERPENT

Black has its own architecture.

Natural, untreated AA black spinel from Thailand. Each faceted rondelle, approximately 5 mm, has its own irregular, angular character — a small sculpture in black stone.

Strung together, the stones form a fluid, almost articulated line, like a serpent at rest. Their irregular facets catch and release light in sudden flashes against the depth of the black spinel. The reflections shift with every movement, creating an extraordinary play of light that photographs can never fully convey.

Worn close to the neck, BLACK SERPENT follows the body with sculptural precision.

Restrained. Luxurious. Unmistakably striking.

About 14k Gold-Filled

14k gold-filled features a substantial layer of real 14k gold mechanically bonded to a base metal. More durable than ordinary gold plating, it offers the beauty of gold with excellent longevity when properly cared for.

Photography Note

Natural gemstones reveal different nuances in sunlight and shade. Their colours may appear darker, softer or more translucent depending on the light.

Camera settings and screen displays may also affect how colours appear. Close-up and macro photography can make the stones appear larger than their actual size.

New in the Atelier

Tiny Songbirds — fragments of sky, shaped in flame.

Each micro-sculpture is formed one breath at a time —

a quiet rebellion against mass-made beauty.

No moulds. No duplicates.

Just a bird small enough to hide in the palm,

yet strong enough to speak to the heart.

A symbol for those who feel deeply

and carry their inner sky with courage.
